Do you require a reservation deposit?

DEPOSITS will be charged to your credit card on file week one of your reservation month. The amount of a 1-night stay plus taxes and fees. For stays longer than 4 nights, a deposit equal to the amount of 2 nights stay is required.

Where is Skyport Lodge located?

We are eight miles from Downtown Grand Marais on Devil Track Lake. Our address is 205 Fireweed Lane in Grand Marais. Click here for directions.

Do all Lodge Rooms have a lake view?

All Lodge Rooms are facing Devil Track Lake with the only exception being our Cozy Queen Room.

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to the small size of our lodge, cancellations significantly affect us. Please check your dates carefully.

Cancellations cannot be made via email. Cancellations are considered confirmed/granted once contact has been made with the reservation desk.

Cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the reservation will be refunded the full deposit minus 10% to cover credit card processing fees. The deposit is non-refundable after this time.

If you do not show up for your reservation, you are responsible for the full cost of your reservation. We do not accept cancellations due to weather, illness, or injuries.

If we arrive late will our reservation be cancelled?

No, but please notify the Lodge that you will be arriving late.

Vacation Rentals:

Do you have quiet hours?

Yes, quiet hours are enforced from 10pm – 8am. Please respect your neighbor.

Will there be a phone in my Lodge Room/Cabin?

We do not provide in-room or cabin landlines. Activating Wi-fi calling on your cellphone is a great option. If you are without a cellphone please ask one of our friendly team members to use the Lodge phone.

Do you serve breakfast?

We do not serve breakfast but we do offer French Roast coffee, creamer cups, oatmeal and dried fruit packs in our guest rooms. Click here to browse dining options.

Do you offer a stayover service?

Stayover service is available upon request. Stop by the Lodge office, or give us a call at 218-387-9414 if you would like us to service your room.

Do you have designated smoking areas?

Smoking is prohibited on patios and balconys adjacent to Lodge Rooms. We have smoker’s outposts located in the front and back of the property. Please keep cigarette smoke away from building windows and entrances.

Do you allow pets?

Your well-behaved family pet is welcome in all 6 of our lodge rooms and 2 out of our 4 cabins. Your four legged friend must be declared during guest registration. Please keep your pet on a leash when you are outside your room. When leaving your pet unattended, Skyport Lodge must be able to reach you if your pet becomes agitated while you’re gone.

What is your damage policy?

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the Lodge’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.


Can we use the lakeside campfire ring?

Yes! Enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set over Devil Track Lake while sitting around the campfire. Let us know if you need helping starting a fire.

Do we need to make reservations to rent a watercraft?

Guests of Skyport Lodge have free access to canoes and paddle boards. Guests can check out one of these items with a team member from the lodge or Grill. Subject to availability. All guests must sign a waiver before they hit the water! Call us at 218-387-9414 to learn more.

We also have two Sylvan 20′ Mirage Cruise Pontoons (50hp). You can rent one for $350/day (8 hours), $175/half day (4 hours), or $150 for the sunset cruise.

Guests bringing their private boat - where to it etc - who to notify - cost?

Contact the Lodge to reserve dock space and inquire about additional fees if guests requests the use of electricity etc.

Where is the public boat launch on Devil Track Lake?

The public boat launch is located a half a mile east of Devil Track Lake Campground on the north side of the lake, just a few minutes from Skyport Lodge. Click here for directions.

Do you have trailer parking?

Yes! we have abundant parking for trucks and snowmobile trailers. Please keep trucks and trailers on Skyport Lane, not in our parking lot or adjacent to it. View our Resort Map to see where our designated trailer parking is here.


Are you open year-round?


Is there cell phone service at the Lodge?

Cell service is poor in the Devil Track Lake area. Activating wifi calling is a great option. All guests are welcome to use our high-speed internet in the Lodge. The Lodge wifi password is ‘letitsnow’ (lowercase).

What is the depth and size of Devil Track Lake? What fish species are in the lake?

Are you a family-friendly resort?

Yes! We are a family-friendly resort with a lakeside playground, lakeside fire ring, watercraft rentals, a community room filled with games, and a kids menu at Raven Rock Grill. Learn more about our watercraft rentals here.
